Kids Need Excercise and Stories

We had some warm weather for awhile but now we are getting some cold weather again. Gave the kids some balls and they were rolling around the living room on their bellies. Leave it to the balls to entertain some kiddos on a cold day in doors.

They also had storytime. We read The "Rainbow Fish", "Mr. Brown can Moo Can you?", "Potty Book For Boys" they also make this one for Girls . As well as some books about Planes and a book about a Truck Worker Dog.

He's A Big Kid NOW

Yesterday we made Popsicle s with Apple Juice and Water frozen ice cube tray treats.  They really enjoy them and they are hydrating. since we had some warm weather for a while.

 I made pine cone bird feeders with the kids today, now they think it is nap time because we had some food at the table, going to make lunch by 11:30 then it is really nap time, has some spring cleaning to do while they nap, bathrooms (YUCK); right now is potty time. Put 1 little gold fish in each potty as a target. Make those fishes swim, right. 

Troy went pee on potty 5 days in a row this week, Sunday Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. So we will see how he is going to do this weekend, hopefully this continued our educational potty training DVD says it takes 8 weeks once we start building momentum and consistency. 

Please take a look at some of the materials, our favorite materials are the BIG KID CENTRAL Success DVD, Pull Ups Night Time Pants ( we are still taking naps during the day), and a potty chair, we also enjoy reading books about potty training.

Activities We Love

Friday Again, Packed the kids up and drove to Wesport Road and Chamberlain Lane to go to Kazoing, An indoor Play Center with Bouncy Houses and A Babies Play Room called the Tot Lot.

Troy was a Big Boy, so independent climbing the Big Slide all By himself and coming Down all by himself, we all went up once all together and then he went by himself.

Take it Back

On our way to go to fitness club Troy says "take it back" I ask him "take what back?" he says "Take it back to Macys." 

I  have no idea what he is talking about but it is comments like those that will get us through the 2's

Sports and Sports Clips

Troy keeps asking to play sports, it is adorable the way he asks because he is a little boy he says "Play Sports, Play sports Mommy" and sounds so inquisitive like he is asking a question or asking permission. Most sports leagues are doing sign ups and such for 3 or 4 year old but he is only 2 and will not be 3 till later on this coming December... Does anyone know of any leagues, (besides the gymnastics at All About KIDS), I am looking for actual T-Ball or Soccer or some type of team sport on the field for 2 year old boys in Louisville?

Yesterday He went with Daddy to get a Haircut, here is a Picture of him before the cut it was really long on the ears and up front on his bangs.

This morning the weather was so nice and the kids were good all week we decided go on a morning trip. The kids and I packed sandwiches and went to the Louisville Zoo.

Happy Birthday DR SEUSS; Cat in the Hat Day at Toddler Storytime

Today is Wednesday, the libraries host story time for toddlers so we decided we are going, when we got there they had the most amazing Theme, Cat in the Hat as a tribute to the author's birthday (Dr. Seuss.) The kiddos enjoyed songs, reading Dr. Seuss stories such as 'Mr. Brown can Moo can You?', 'If you are Happy and You Know it', and 'The Foot Book.' They made Dr. Seuss Cat Hats, had cookies and juice and received bookmarks.

I had our niece Hailey come over today while my younger sister Kristy went to school; here is some pictures of Troy and her at Play, went by the church to playground and came home we had supper, bathes, and bedtime.
