I am a 27 year old MOM. I am married my son's father on July 21, 2012. I am from Louisville. right after the wedding I decided to start running, so watch my blog for tips on how to stay healthy. Also I enjoy trying new products so the blog may have many product reviews.
So I am going to start a new series on our blog, posting activities we can do around Louisville that are Fun and Free.
Post 1: Picnic on Patio ( or backyard)
You can also do this at a playground when there is picnic tables.
Besides the cost of groceries hosting a picnic in your own backyard is completely free, Doing this once per week the kids enjoy doing it because they are away from the television, they are outdoors and they can get up and run around as soon as they get through eating. You can also choose to play first and then eat. You can get creative and take a picnic basket lined with printed towels and napkins, this gives it a nice touch. WE justchose to put the ham and cheese and fruit on plates and bring the cups onto patio.
FUN AND FREE.
It is almost 90 degrees around here and Troy was sweating with the hair in his face so we decided that it is time get a haircut for the Summer, we had taken him to Sports Clips a few months ago with Dad at the Breckinridge Lane location but there is also a location near us on Shelbyville Road so we went there. The barber said there is usually no line there but there was this time, guess everyone was thinking the same thing as us this day. They were really nice even though Troy is not very good at waiting, once they started cutting he did good, sat still, and she cut it just like I told her to. She gave us coupons to hand out to our friends and coupons for when we came back.

Pros: Functional, Good Value Cons: Not Personalized Best Uses: For Fun Describe Yourself: Recently Engaged
I bought these for use at an engagement party but before we could host an engagement party our 2 year old son had to play with some bubbles around the house, besides the bubbles we get at Gymboree Stores these small bottles make more bubbles than any bottles we found at the toy and grocery stores, entertaining for the whole family, I recommend them for use at receptions or if you would like your guests to blow bubbles at you as you leave the ceremony.
On Our way to Henry's Ark this morning the kids were entertained by imagining all of the animals they might see and the sounds they might make. "We're on our way, We're on our way, on our way to Henry's Ark,We're on our way, We're on our way, on our way to Henry's Ark, Down on Henry's Ark there is a little White Goat, Down on Henry's Ark there is a little White Goat, The goat it makes a sound like this Baa Baa"
As soon as we arrived there was a donkey that approached the car, we had packed some bread and cereal that the kids we ready to give the animals, the donkey was fed and walked with us.
these animals were really hungry because the aforementioned goat proceeded to attack me for the cereal, he would not take any bread from the kids nor eat it from the ground he was essentially demanding that I give it to him from my hand, I told that KID( the goat) to leave my kid ( the babies) alone and he rammed me with his head, but I would not let him near the kids.
We also noticed the first Easter Egg it was so HUGE must have been an ostrich egg but I did not see any Ostriches, maybe an Emu, do Emu's lay eggs? Can you imagine the Omelet this egg would make, or how much chocolate might be inside....
